Iconic silk square scarf made of black silk muslin with tiny strass details.
This product has been fully handmade by Paulette. She has used the hand-rolled hem technique which is the finest way to finish a product made of silk. Therefore, each product is unique and might slightly differ from the photo.
"It is the most sophisticated technique I know. It consists of rolling the edge of the fabric between your fingers until you have a tight, smooth and tonic hem. Once I got it, I fix it with a handmade stitch. I also try to use yarn that matches as much as possible with the fabric so my finishing will almost be invisible and will melt into the fabric! How psych is that?" - Paulette
This garment is fully handmade by Paulette of silk in her creative studio in Paris.
We advise you to hand-wash this garment at low-temperature (30°) and to favor a natural drying.
All of our scarfs are produced in limited quantities. It exists 8 copy of this one. The fabric used to produce this scarf was rescued from the dead stock of a Parisian fashion house though the Up-Cycling Process. The silk used was chosen on aesthetic and quality criteria.
Fits true to size, fits true to the sixties. 95X95cm.
