MUSICAL BRAIN SCAN SERIES: CALVIN LOVE
Dear sixties souls, we hope you all had a groovy week-end!
We're very thrilled to introduce you today a new GMK Musical Brain Scan playlist. For this new episode we would like to introduce to you Calvin Love. A Canadian musician who arrives as a crooner, an enigma and a haunted voice.
Love's work reflects on the modern journey. Songs for the introverts, songs for the lonely and songs to elucidate humanity for the weary denizens of the weary world. He prooves that in the form of cartoon darkness there is a reality beyond that which is fully amenable to basic speech, and so must be corralled in blind faith in a palette. He is a rare gift that more than so much of what we're forced to consume offers a vision.
We've asked Calvin for his musical brain scan, here it is:
You Got It - Roy Orbison
Pissing In a River - Patti Smith
I Would Die For U - Prince
Careless Whisper - George Michael
This Must Be The Place - Talking Heads
