MUSICAL BRAIN SCAN SERIES: ALPHONSE EMERY
Dear world, we're very thrilled to introduce you today a new Musical Brain Scan! We hope you had a groovy week-en full of psychedelic and mystic adventures. For this new episode we wanted to introduce you Alphonse Emery. He is a beautiful french souls living in Paris and is behind all the groovy and colourful basslines of Moonster, a psychedelic Parisian quartet.
The four musicians met in 2009 and since then, have constantly been working on writing and recording music where psychedelic, trances, improvisations, colourful melodies and energetic rhythms are freely mixed. With influences ranging from classical music to jazz and especially '70s rock, they are part of the of the revival psychedelic music scene.
After having performed over the years in numerous concert halls in Paris and elsewhere in France they recorded their first album, Shiny Shadows, in 2014, and in 2016, the eponymous EP Moonsters: two summaries of their journey, but also preludes to new musical evolutions, which the four Moonster never stop experimenting. At the end of 2021, they come back to offer new tracks announcing a renewal of the project.
